Hello Panel! We have purchased tickets for the MVMCP...my question is, if we had theme park tickets that do NOT have park-hopper, would we still be able to go to AK in the morning and then use our MVMCP event ticket to get into MK?

Hello, Stephanie. I'm so excited that you will be enjoying Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! I also have tickets to go this December. It is my favorite holiday event at Walt Disney World. The event ticket is your pass to get into the Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. You do not need to have a park hopper. You can enjoy Animal Kingdom in the morning and then use your event ticket to get into the Magic Kingdom later. The Christmas Party usually doesn't start until 7 p.m., however you can arrive earlier than that and spend an extra hour or so in the park before the event begins. Last year after all of the day guests cleared out, the attraction wait times diminished and I was able to 'walk on' to many attractions. I don't think I had to wait over twenty minutes for an attraction other than the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. I also suggest that you grab dinner before the event so that you don't 'waste' precious Christmas Party time as there are so many great things to see.

If you have any more questions please feel free to ask, and have a magical holiday vacation!

I am a recent graduate from Ball State University and mother to my 5-year-old son. We love all things Disney and when we aren’t watching Disney films or planning our next vacation, we love to go to touring Disney shows. I also love to cook, listen to music, read books, and paint. With my experience planning vacations and navigating the parks from a single parent’s perspective, I hope to be able to add a little “pixie dust” to your vacation! Learn More About Sarah
