Hello Moms Panel! I am in the process of planning our first family trip to WDW in 2012 (yeah!!) When would be the best time to attend for our first experience? We would like to go when the weather is warm and not soooo crowded. Thanks for the advice!!

    Hi Pam.

Thanks for turning to the Moms Panel to answer your question!

My family has traveled to Disney World virtually every month of the year and my favourite time to be here is right now!

This is our third October visit and compared to some of the other times of the year when crowds seem to be 'lighter' this is when we like to come.  We love the autumn colours that adorn the parks.  There is less humidity and the day time temps in the high 70s and low 80s make it ideal.

For more information, and for a small fee, you could go to www.touringplans.com.  This site has a crowd meter that will help you make your plans.

Have a magical time in 2012 when you visit!
