Hi Panel! I am planning a trip for me, my husband and our 6 year old daughter the first week in March 2014. So it's coming up quick. Would you recommend a preferred room at Pop or spend a little extra and get a standard room at the Caribean beach? Why?

    Hi Wendy!

How exciting to know your vacation will be here before you know it! March is beautiful at Walt Disney World. As a fun activity, my kids and I love making little calendars to celebrate our countdowns.

I personally would choose the standard room at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort because it is one of my family's favorite places to stay.  Either hotel would truly be lovely, but there are a few reasons why we love staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.  To start off, we love the dining options.  The Old Port Royale food court offers tasty treats we all enjoy and we love the fact there is a sit down option as well, with Shutters at Old Port Royale.  Beyond dining, we love the feel and ambiance of the resort.  You can't help but dance around to the sounds of the steel drums and Caribbean music while you take in the view of Barefoot Bay and the lush tropical surroundings.  Last, my family loves all the recreational activities, including my kids favorite--The Fuentes del Morro Pool.  They love playing games with the Cast Members, zipping down the slides, or splashing around the water cannons.  On select nights, you can make s'mores, curl up and watch an outdoor movie, or sit in a hammock on the beach and catch just a few of the fireworks from Epcot's IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort has just the right amount of magic to make my family's vacation complete.  I hope I was able to help you in your selection, but honestly you can't go wrong with either choice.  If you have any further questions, please come back and let me know.

    Have a wonderful vacation,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family: graduations, pregnancies, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, reunions, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon. I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help add a little extra Pixie Dust to your next magical adventure. Learn More About Lauren
