Hi Moms Panel - We're planning our 3rd trip to Disney and are trying to decide where to stay. We like the Deluxe resorts and have stayed at WL and Poly before. This trip we're thinking of BW or BC. 2 kids 8 and 11 - love swimming. Ideas? Thank you!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Karyn!

Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's BoardWalk Inn are both excellent choices and I don't think you'd go wrong with either of them.  Both of them have great pools but of the two, Stormalong Bay at Beach Club is considered by many to be the best pool on Disney Property.

The Stormalong Bay Pool Complex is like no other at Disney World. It features three acres of sand-bottomed pools. It also includes one of the tallest hotel waterslides on property, whirlpools and a lazy river. Kids especially love the area that features a sand bar in the middle of one of the pools. There they can build sand castles and splash in the shallow water. Stormalong Bay features special poolside activities each day that are fun for the whole family.

There is an elevated tanning deck for those who just want to relax and soak up the sun. You can't go wrong with this pool. It is amazing!

Both of the resorts have arcades that kids those ages love.  They both feature recreational activities like tennis, movies under the stars and bike rentals.  BoardWalk Inn offers easy access to the BoardWalk that is host to a lot of restaurants, unique shops and a very festive atmosphere at night.  We saw a terrific juggler there last weekend. You can also take a Friendship Boat from Beach Club over to the BoardWalk.  Both of these Resorts offer easy access to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.  They are also both really close to Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf.

I love Beach Club and BoardWalk Inn but if you think you're going to spend a lot of time in the pool, Beach Club gets my vote.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
