Hello Sherry,
Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show,
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, and Mickey's Backyard BBQ are all magical Dining Experiences however, they offer very different meal options and entertainment.
Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show has an enchanting island luau atmosphere, so if you're looking for a laid back meal with exciting entertainment, then I highly recommend it. My family has had the opportunity to enjoy it on three different occasions, and we have loved it each and every time. The Hula and Fire Dancing performances are amazing, and the Polynesian-inspired menu is fantastic! I could just eat the pineapple-coconut bread all night and be happy, however, the entire menu is delicious! Make sure to leave room for the pineapple bread pudding with caramel sauce for dessert!
If you're looking for laughs, then I suggest Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. You're guaranteed to have a hand clappin', foot stompin', hootenanny of a good time! You'll get to dine on all-you-care-to-enjoy fried chicken, BBQ ribs and many other menu offerings all while being entertained by country western singers, dancers and comedians. Be prepared for corny jokes and lots of singing and dancing!
If you want to have a Character Dining Experience then Mickey's Backyard BBQ would be the best choice. The BBQ also offers all-you-care-to-enjoy country style food. Ribs, Chicken, Burgers, Hot Dogs, corn on the cob, and much more are served during the rollicking Hootin' Tootin' Hoedown! You'll have the chance to meet and get photos with Disney Characters, dance to live music, and watch some cowboy rope tricks!
Please visit us again if you have any additional vacation planning questions!
Magical Wishes,
