Hi Panel! Planning a trip for April 2014.My husband 11 year old son and I. We cant really afford to stay on property but was wondering if you knew of any good hotels close to the parks so we can squeeze in as much Disney excitment as possible. Thanks!

    Hi there Lyndsy!

I know how you feel! Sometimes when you really think Disney is out of reach, there are ways to make the magic that much more affordable. One of the expenses which you could lower is the cost of your tickets. You should look into The Disney Youth Education series Individual Enrollment which would lower the cost of your tickets to get into the parks.

During April, we have seen resort discounts the last few years. The benefits of staying at one of the Walt Disney World Value Resorts are numerous and just the Extra Magic Hours and Free Theme Park parking make up a nice savings over nearby resorts.

If you are planning on staying outside of the Walt Disney World Resort, I would stay somewhere in the Downtown Disney area and definitely double check TripAdvisor prior to making a reservation.

Thank you so much for your question and if you need additional help, we are always here for you! Have a wonderful day!
