Hi Moms Panel, We are planning our first trip to WDW in Jan/Feb 2014. We have 2 kids (girl 5 & boy 3). I'm having a hard time trying to decide which resort to pick. I have it narrowed down to CBR, PCR or AoA. Any advice? What is the difference in room

Hi Rebecca, welcome to the Disney Parks Mom's Panel!

A resort can make a difference at a Walt Disney World vacation.

Deluxe Resorts are the only ones to feature character and Signature restaurants and to be located close to 1 or 2 theme parks or to Downtown Disney.  These resorts also offer more space and benefits.

With the exception of the Caribbean Beach Resort all Moderate Resorts offer queen side beds.  These resorts feature good space, a relaxing environment and good bus transportation.

Value Resorts have smaller rooms and bathrooms, but still feature all the comforts and amenities necessary at a Disney vacation.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort does feature beautiful landscape and room decorations.

While I prefer staying at the Polynesian Resort or the Contemporary Resort, the Port Orleans - Riverside offers great value and all the commodities my family needs.  My kids love staying at the Alligator Bayou rooms, where they get to take turns at the pull down-bunk bed of Louis the Alligator.
This is the best room for families with 3 young children.

At any Disney resort using your own car or a rental will help make the most of your vacation time.  This allows quick traveling to parks, between resorts and to Downtown Disney.

Thank you for visiting and letting us help you plan a magical Disney vacation.
Hope to hear again from you.
