Hello mom's panel - we are planning our first trip in Oct and there is so much info, its almost overwhelming. My question(s) is: should we wait to book our hotel later in the summer to see what deals WDR will have, I have checked prices on price line. Thx

    Hi Beth!

Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  You must be so excited about your very first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.  Definitely book your resort reservations now.  Call (407) WDW-STAY.  You'll want to secure your resort choice as soon as possible.  Keep an eye on Disneyworld.com for the latest discounts and specials.  If they are released, you should call back and ask if that discount is available for your dates of stay at your desired resort. I'd hate to see you miss out on your choice in the meantime.  You will also want to call Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE in order to book all of your choices for table service dining.  Most restaurants offer advanced dining reservations within 180 days of your trip. Without reservations, you may not get a chance at the restaurants which appeal to you the most.   Also, spend some time on My Disney Experience at Disneyworld.com, where you can customize your exciting trip.

As you come up with additional specific questions, feel free to let me know.  I'd be happy to help you again.

Until then, I wish you a magical vacation!
