    Hello Panel. Planning our first family trip to WDW the 3rd week of Jan. Wife 2 kids(5 + 9) and Mom. Staying at Port Orleans Riverside. Can you tell me if the pools will be open at resort? Heard mention of movies and camp fires at night. Is this true? Luvya

    Hi David, You will be able to enjoy their swimming pools as they are all heated and if it's chilly outside you can still swim if you are brave enough to take that first plunge, but once you are in, it's really nice....getting out is another story! You may experience nice warmer temperatures in January/February, but just in case it is cold they are heated. You will also be able to enjoy their Campfire on the Bayou followed by Movies Under the Stars (you will be given an activities times sheet as well as fact sheet on the resort when you check-in). I am sure your children will love the poolside activities that are available as well. Enjoy! Best wishes, Brigitta
