Hi Jennifer!
Bringing little ones to Walt Disney World for their first visit is magical! You'll be a kid again when you're in the park, but also, you'll enjoy the special Disney touches that light up the little ones' faces.
When I took my first son to Walt Disney World for his first visit, we visited Magic Kingdom for two days, and Hollywood Studios on a third day. This strategy worked well when my family went along with my young niece, too.
If you visit the parks for more than three days, I encourage you to visit Epcot and Animal Kingdom, too! They have attractions with little ones in mind. In fact, I suggest you grab a copy of the "
Magical Beginnings" Park Map, which highlights them for each of the parks.
Not only do the kids enjoy seeing some of their favorite characters and get some great photos with them, but I like relaxing and eating at a
character dining, while having some of the most delicious foods that you'll find throughout Walt Disney World.
Make your vacation extra special by going on a
Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. While you watch the fireworks, music piped in and all, you'll enjoy a wonderful view, and the kids will watch with delight. Actually, my sons prefer watching the fireworks from here because the noise isn't as loud as when standing in Magic Kingdom. Meeting some of great characters, and having a humorous pirate serve as your captain, all add to the experience!
I hope this helps you start planning for your magical vacation! Feel free to stop by the Moms Panel with more questions!
