Hello Panel! Planning fall 2014 trip DD really wants to attend MNSSHP while we are there. Are September dates generally less crowded than October? And are weekday parties less crowded than weekends? What is the weather like for costume planning? Thx!

    Hi Alyssa!

I am excited for you because you are planning to attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party next year! I have attended Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party three times before and I can't wait to do it again this fall! Yes, the September dates for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party tend to be less crowded than the dates in October and weekday parties are less crowded than when this party falls on a weekend.  Also typically Halloween and the party dates that are near Halloween tend to be sold out and have the highest attendance.  September and October in Walt Disney World still can be quite warm so I would avoid costumes with long sleeves or that are very hot even though Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is held during the evenings.  If it happens to be a cool night, then a light jacket could be worn, but chances are high that you will be warm rather than cold.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
