Hi Moms Panel. I am planning a DW vacation for March 2014. I have a 7yr old son and approximately a 7mth old son. We are hoping to stay at the Grand Floridian. My question is are all the pools (including the kids splash area) going to be open in March?

    Howdy Christine!

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is awe-inspiring!!!  You will LOVE it!!  Have you booked your vacation yet?  It is a very popular resort for Guests staying in both the Resort Hotel and new Disney Vacation Club Villas!

I have great news for you!  The pools are open in March.  In fact, they are typically open all year long and are "naturally heated" by the beautiful Florida sun (many are heated by Disney magic as well).

Your boys will love the pools!  There is a Mad Hatter themed water play area that your 7 month old might enjoy.  Your 7 year old will enjoy the 181-foot-long waterslide at the Beach Pool and you will all enjoy spending time at the Courtyard pool.

I'm so excited for you!!  I know your March 2014 Walt Disney World vacation will be magical!  Enjoy every cherished moment!

Thanks so much for your question!  Please let me know if you need any further information as you plan your vacation!
