Hi panel! Planning 10 days next summer, DH, 19 year old autistic DS, and me. Would you pick a standard room at AK or standard room at WL and why? Plan to do every park twice and water park. Have stayed at CBR in the past. Thanks a bunch!

Jaynee, when picking a deluxe resort at Walt Disney World, there are only good choices. Wouldn't life be easier if all dilemmas only had terrific answers?

Does your family adore animals? Then your lodging choice should be Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Waking up to antelopes, zebras, and giraffes outside your window is a unique experience every lover of all creatures wild and wonderful should enjoy at least once. Animal Kingdom Lodge also offers perhaps the most architecturally stunning resort in WDW with a spectacular lobby that includes a soaring window overlooking the savanna and a bridge spanning one end. The restaurants offer slightly exotic choices with an African flare as well as American favorites.

If animals are not your passion, book Disney's Wilderness Lodge for your stay. Located in a pine tree forest only a boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom, this resort has a fabulous location. You will feel you are in a 100 year old historic hotel in the middle of a national park instead of only minutes away from the world's most popular theme park. This resort offers a pool with a waterfall, a lobby with a running stream, and a soaring, timber beamed ceiling.

If you have additional questions about either of these resorts or any other aspect of Walt Disney World, please contact me. Remember, either of your picks will be an excellent choice, so no worries!
