Hi Panel. We are a party of 4 adults and one baby when we go to Disney Nov. 18. When I book a table for dinning do I book it for a party of 4 or 5; even though my little one would be in a high chair. Thanks!

    Hi Jeana,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this excellent question!

Indeed, when booking advanced dining reservations, you will need to include all the members of your party regardless of age. This ensures your table will have room for everyone, including Guests under the age of 3 who may need a high chair. An accurate count is needed in order to help manage service capacity and to comply with fire safety regulations. Therefore, your baby will most definitely need to be included in each of your dining reservations.

    Disney Mom Tips:

    1. Spend some time exploring the page about Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones.

    2. Be sure to check out the useful packing tips videos found in this excellent Disney Parks Blog entry.

    3. Do take advantage of the convenient Baby Care Centers found throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.

    4. Book dining reservations for at least one Character Dining experience. Guests 3 years old, and under, eat for free at any Buffet/Family Style restaurant. They can share a plate with mom and dad or even get their own little plate! These Disney restaurants are all wonderful, but if I had to pick just one, I would recommend Chef Mickey's.

I hope you found this information useful, Jeana. If you have any more questions, please come back to visit us again. We'll be more than happy to help you discover the true Power of Magic!
