Hi Panel, I just paid for my vacation in full. I received a confirmation e-mail with vacation details. It's our first flight ever. Adults have a seat #, why next to my 6 yo child's name on the Flight information the word Null is written?

    Hi Alejandro,

Like you, I would much prefer to see a seat number by your child's name under the flight information on your travel documents.  I am a bit concerned that the airlines may mistakenly assume that your child is young enough to sit on your lap on the plane.  Therefore, I think a call to the airline, or to the travel office through which you made your reservation, is in order.  Ask for your flight confirmation code then go to the airline website and see if you can select a seat for your daughter or son.  It would be best to take care of this sooner as opposed to later as some airlines are inclined to over-book their flights.

Good luck.  I'll keep my fingers crossed as you check on the details of your family's flight.
