Hello mom,s panel i need help this is my first time and also my 3-grands first time to WDW i need to know what type of shoes for them to wear the boys are 13yr & 9yr please help us we will be August 22 2011 to the 29th

    Hi Vanessa!

New shoes are a no-no.  They cause blisters and misery!  I learned this years ago-the hard way.  I would have them wear broken-in sneakers or some type of waterproof shoes, such as Crocs.  Those are comfortable.  If you use those, I would recommend you get new ones.  Crocs don't need to be broken in to be comfortable and the tread on the bottom is safer for no slipping.

If you are going to a water park, have them wear flip flops or pool shoes.  That pavement gets REALLY hot and uncomfortable to walk on at this time of year.

I hope this helps!  Have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World!  Enjoy the magic.

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
