    Hi Panel! Need some expert help/tips. Coming to WDW in 17 days & looking for gift ideas for ex-Disney Wonder Team Members whom are expecting their first baby soon. However the gender is going to be a surprise so would like to get a magical gift, any id

    Hi Bobbi!

    How sweet is that?!  This "ex-Disney Wonder Team" is getting ready to welcome a little "Wonder" of their own!

    Finding that perfect gift is always something that stresses me a little bit.  Never one to buy from the pre-selected gift lists, I usually go out hunting for something unique and memorable.  I found something at Walt Disney World a couple of years ago that I was able to purchase for a friend's baby, and they absolutely loved it.  I'll share it with you if you promise not to tell anyone else about it, okay?  Okay!

    There is a wonderful shop in Downtown Disney & Marketplace called "The Art of Disney".  Often you will find some of the Disney artists and animators at work live and in person at the store!  It is fascinating to watch them work.  And, the best part is that they autograph and sell their creations in the store, usually for a very reasonable price! 

    You may find original pen and ink drawings of some of your favorite characters there at anytime to go in, signed by the artists themselves.  I bought a drawing of Bambi for my friend, and it was gorgeous!  I had it framed and gave it as a shower gift.  They loved it and it is still hanging in the nursery today.  I know if I'd had this as a child, it would still hold a place of honor on my walls today!

    I hope this is helpful, or maybe gives you an idea of where to start looking for that "one-of-a-kind", special gift.  Of course, we know that ANY gift from Walt Disney World is "magical"
