Hello panel, my mother wants to stay at Caribbean Beach Resort in the pirate-themed room and I want to stay in the AKL with the savanna view. Which hotel would you recommend, this is our first WDWV and we have a 12 yrs boy and 5 yrs girl.

Hi LaShandra - I'd definitely recommend staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge in a savanna-view room over a pirate-themed room at the Caribbean Beach Resort.  The Animal Kingdom Lodge is such a unique resort, and is really one of my favorites - because of its beautiful lobby and warm, cozy feel.  I also really enjoy the restaurants at the Animal Kingdom Lodge - especially breakfasts and dinners at Boma.

The savanna-view rooms are really fabulous.  When we stayed in one, my kids really couldn't get enough - they kept pressing their little faces up to the windows.

I hope that helps!  Have a great vacation!
