Hi Moms Panel, we'll be in MK 2/17 or 2/18/18. The fireworks begin at 8pm both nights. What time & where should we go for dinner so we can see castle/new show? 2 adults, 7 & 3 y/o, open to quick & resv options. Thank you!

Hello Myriam! Welcome back the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

With your Walt Disney World Resort vacation right around the corner, you and your family are probably anticipating the Endless Magic that awaits.

My first recommendation for a Dining Location at Magic Kingdom will always be Be Our Guest Restaurant. It combines magnificent ambience with delicious food in an environment that keeps kids engaged throughout your meal. Unfortunately, many people agree with me and Advanced Dining Reservations (especially 2 months out) will be difficult to come by. I recommend that whatever you do decide to book or plan, that you keep an eye out for any cancelations and openings for Advanced Dining Reservations at Be Our Guest for around 6:00pm to comfortably experience a magical meal with plenty of time left over for the Happily Ever After Fireworks Extravaganza at 8:00pm.

As of this writing, there were Advanced Dining Reservations for a couple of Dining Locations at Magic Kingdom. Out of those remaining, I would recommend Tony's Town Square Restaurant as the most kid-friendly in terms environment and fare (although not one of my favorites) and Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen for its more adventurous food (with kid's menus) and fun ambiance.

The Quick Service location I would recommend is Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe for it's tasty Fajita Platters and Beef Nachos and nearby Dole Whip desserts at Aloha Isle.

    Bon Appétit!
