Hello Panel. If you have a Magic Band do you need a Photo Pass card, or do they scan your band. Also will you explain how to get your attraction photos linked to your account or can you only get those with a Memory Maker. 83 days to go. Thanks

    Barbara:

You don't need a Photo Pass card if you are wearing a Magic Band to capture your Disney photos. Photos of you on rides--even videos of you--will show up under your Photo Pass account "magically." If you have your picture taken by a Disney Photographer, they will scan your band or you may ask them to go "old-school" and give you a Photo Pass card that you can link to your account later.

Additionally, it may be best to understand the difference between Photo Pass and Memory Maker. Purchasing Memory Maker gives you the ability to download the pictures that are taken of everyone linked to your reservation and who is wearing a Magic Band or who captures their photo from a ride or a Disney Photographer via their Magic Band or Photo Pass card. All of your photos will show up in your Photo Pass account that is under your MY DISNEY EXPERIENCE account at www.disneyworld.com. Photos will remain there for 45 days after they are taken, and you can either purchase photos a la carte or buy Memory Maker and have unlimited downloads of your pictures for 30 days.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
