Hi panel! Luv ya’ll! Can you please give some advice on what we can do on non-park days? Coming over Thanksgiving, so no water parks. Thanks.

Genie, this is an excellent question! I often encourage families to have one or two non-Park days or what I like to call "Resort Days". These are excellent opportunities to sleep in, have a meal at your Resort hotel for breakfast and/or lunch, and, most importantly, enjoy all the amenities offered at your Resort hotel. The heated pools, daily activities, and the arcade are a few of the things to enjoy at your Resort hotel.

You can also use these days to visit other Resort hotels on Disney property. This is a great way to dine at other Resort hotels and check out the wonderful themes offered at other locations. It is fun to plan your next Disney vacation by promising to stay at a specific Resort hotel when you return!

You can use Disney Transportation to travel to and from different Walt Disney Resort areas and explore. We like to take the Disney bus to Downtown Disney after our Resort Day morning at the pool or fun activity. We will grab a bite to eat for lunch and window shop (okay we shop, LOL!). We will then take a bus or boat to a different Resort hotel or stroll to Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort. We enjoy visiting the shops and arcades at the other Resort hotels. If we do not have dinner reservations, we will take the Disney bus from that Resort Hotel to Magic Kingdom and use the monorail to visit even more Resort hotels. We have even taken the Disney bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios and walked over to the BoardWalk for more entertainment and dinner. Depending on where we are staying, we will either walk, catch the Disney bus, the monorail or a boat back to our Resort hotel.

The very best part of the Resort Day is that there are no real plans. You can relax and enjoy the day!
