Hi Mom's panel, love this service. my question is this...I am single mom traveling with almost 3 yo son, was wondering if there was a way to hook up another single parent to make some of the experience a little easier with another adult to talk with.

Hi, Kimberly! I'm sure there's some short of "stranger/danger" language that I should/could include here, so use your best judgment in determining what is best for you and your son. I mention this as I'm humming "matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match," - which I don't think is what you had in mind.

(Can you tell I'm more of a communications guy than a legal guy?)

While I'm hesitant to recommend what you should do, I can tell you how I've seen others connect with like-minded Disney parks fans. In addition to us Moms Panelists, there are lots of other Disney Parks enthusiasts throughout the country. It's amazing how welcoming the community is. One of the easiest ways to stay connected with them is virtually through podcasts, fansites, blogs, Twitter and Facebook. Many people who connect through these avenues will plan on meeting up with others who will be at Disney World at the same time.

Lou Mongello does a monthly meet up with listeners of his WDW Radio Show. Tune in to his weekly podcast and visit his website to see if your trip may intersect with one of these meet ups. There, you may hit it off with other individuals who may want to hang out with you too. Other Disney groups do meet ups (and tweet ups) too.

Another idea for meeting people is to do one of the behind the scenes tours. This may be less of an option because these tours are not geared for smaller children.

I know it must be challenging to be a single mom traveling with a 3 year old. My hat goes off to you for making a point to take your son down to Disney World and give him such a special time with you. You're an awesome mom and anyone would be lucky to meet up with you.
