Hi, Mom's Panel! I love reading the site in preparation for our first family trip June 25-29 staying at POR (daughter-6, son-2). With only 3 full days can you suggest a tentative plan to make the most of the 4 parks for my kids?

Hi, Shelly!   With only 3 full days, I would suggest doing just 3 parks.   I would dedicate a full day for Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot.   If you are really determined to do Animal Kingdom, split your Epcot day (Animal Kingdom in the morning, then head to Epcot after your afternoon break!)

Plan on getting to the parks 30 minutes prior to scheduled opening, and take an afternoon break back at your resort with a nap and a quick swim.   You will need to get everyone out of the sun and heat for a few hours!   Then you can return in the evening when it is a bit cooler and the sun is not so intense.

Expect some very high temperatures, so bring a stroller and in your tote bag or backpack bring sunscreen, refillable water bottles, snacks, autograph books, camera, and sunglasses and hats.

Glad you are enjoying the Moms Panel and I hope you have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
