Hi, Danielle!
How exciting! You're going to love
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party; there is no better way to get into the holiday spirit than taking in a special event during the Christmas season in Walt Disney World!
The dates on which there will be a MVMCP during your 2013 stay include 12/3, 12/5, 12/6, 12/8, 12/10 and 12/12. We like to avoid special events on both our first and our last day, as unexpected travel issues may arise and complicate plans. Next, take a look at any early mornings, such as a.m. Extra Magic Hours or early breakfast reservations that you may have and avoid going to MVMCP the night before those. (Why set yourselves up for an exhaustingly late night followed by an early morning if you can avoid it?) Next, look at crowd levels if you plan on being at Magic Kingdom before the start of the party, and pair your special event with a day that is predicted to be less crowded. According to the unofficial crowd-predicting site touringplans.com, 12/5, 12/6, 12/8, 12/10 are all great dates to attend MK, with crowd levels predicted to be 1.1 out of 10 each day. Woo hoo!
In short, look at the rest of your plans, Danielle, and place a visit to MVMCP on a day when you can sleep in a little (so you're not too tired by the end of the night) and possibly sleep in a little the next day. This will help you to get the most out of your ticket to that spectacular holiday party in Magic Kingdom.
Have a blast!
Be sure to send more questions as you think of them, too, Danielle. We love to help!
