    Hi there Tina,

The Disneyland Dining Plan program is totally different than that of Walt Disney World in that it serves as more of a prepayment method rather than one of savings.  The Disneyland Dining Plan is a voucher system There are several plans to choose from, including a table service plan that includes deluxe or character dining options, a table service plan including non-character dining.  You will receive vouchers worth a certain monetary value (usually the average price of a meal) and they are redeemable at quick service, table service, and snack locations throughout property.  You can also pay the difference out of pocket if your voucher does not cover the price of your entire meal however, you will not receive change or credit if the meal costs less than the voucher value.

I am a huge fan of Walt Disney World's Dining Plan, but prefer to pay out of pocket while at Disneyland because that method just works better for my family!  Take some time to browse the Disneyland Dining Plan options to see if it's right for you!
