hello panel. We are a littlt confused about luggage tranfers. We3 are doing a land/sea, staying at the yacht club. We have round trip tranfers. Could you clear up our confusion. we are flying into orlando. thanks so much.

    Hi Kevin!

No need to worry - Disney does a great job of making a Land and Sea vacation a seamless experience for guests. There's no better vacation that I can imagine than spending time at Walt Disney World Resort - the most magical place on earth, then setting sail with Disney Cruise Line for some R&R on the open seas! It truly is my favorite vacation experience!

First, you'll need to make sure you've set up Disney's Magical Express for the "land" portion of your trip. After booking your resort hotel stay, you'll receive MagicBands and resort luggage tags in the mail. Place the bright yellow tags on your luggage when you check in at the airport. Once you arrive at the airport, make your way down to the Disney's Magical Express area (Side B, Level 1) to board your comfy motorcoach. All you'll need to board the Magical Express bus to Disney's Yacht Club Resort is a tap of your MagicBand, and you'll soon be on your way. Your luggage will "magically" arrive at your resort later that day!

I'm happy to hear you've already booked Disney Cruise Line Ground Transfers for the "sea" portion of your vacation. A Disney Cruise Line booklet and luggage tags will be mailed to you about a month prior to your cruise. Wait until embarkation day to place those tags on your luggage. You'll receive detailed instructions in your resort room the night before you sail, telling you what time and where your luggage will be picked up and taken to the ship. (Usually around 8am, and it will be picked up right inside your resort room). Make sure to pack a day bag with your cruise documents, passports (or other forms of ID), medications you may need, valuables, etc. since it will be late afternoon on the ship before you're reunited with your checked bags.

I hope this helps better explain the process! Have a magical land and sea vacation! - Diane W.
