    Hi Mom's Panel! I have learned so much from reading all of your answers! In two months my family will be starting our 8 hour drive to Disney! We are so excited! I was wondering if you could give me any suggestions for good disney trivia books? Thanks!

    What a wonderful way to spend eight hours in a car!  My family are avid readers so I just love your question.  I have several suggestions for you.   "Hidden Mickeys- A Field Guide to Walt Disney World's Best Kept Secrets" by Steven Barrett is a favorite of ours.  It points out Hidden Mickeys throughout the theme parks and although it is best taken with you to the parks, I always like reading it first to get a feel of the book.  "The Hidden Magic of Walt Disney World" by Susan Veness includes secrets from all of the theme parks and attractions as well.  My son, who is 14 years old, just adores this book.  It will be a great to read this out loud in the car!  "Four Decades of Magic- Celebrating the First Forty Years of Disney World" is a collection of several essays written by Disney experts and shares their memories and stories.  It gives a true history as well as wonderful trivia.  "Walt Disney World Trivia Book:  Secrets, History, and Fun Facts Behind the Magic" by Louis Mongello is a book I have often looked at but have not read yet.   It looks great and is easily readable, especially while traveling in a car.  By the time you get to Walt Disney World, Kim, your family will be Disney Experts.  Depending on the ages of your children, I would suggest getting the "Kingdom Keepers" series by Ridley Pearson on CD to listen in the car.  The first book is about Magic Kingdom and would suggest it for children ages 12 and up.  I know you will just have a magical vacation!
