Hi panel! I keep reading about kids getting autographs from characters. Is there a special book given out or something we purchase in advance? Thanks for your help!

    Hi Sara,

This is a subject that is very near and dear to my heart because it reminds me of my daughter when she was just a little girl.  I started taking her to Disney when she was 18 months old and that's when she started her autograph book.  She would hand the book and the pen to the characters each time!  She is now 18 years old and still has that book.  It's one of her prized possessions.

You can find autograph books in almost every shop at Walt Disney World.  Some come with pens, some without.  I wouldn't use a Sharpie or any other type of marker, however.  I'd be afraid that the ink would come through to the back of the pages.  If you want to have an autograph book before you arrive you can visit the Disney Store online or you can use the Shop Disney Parks mobile app to see the choices there.  You could also use a notepad or sketch book with thicker pages if you don't see something you like.

I hope this helps.  Have a wonderful time on your trip and thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.
