Hi Moms Panel! I'm wondering if there are any special parades or celebrations for St.Patrick's Day that we can look forward to during our trip in March? Thanks!

    Hello, Moya,

While I have not heard about a special parade for St. Patrick's Day for this year, there are some wonderful places to celebrate the holiday while visiting Walt Disney World.  First, Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant in Disney Springs has lots of celebrations during the entire week for guests to enjoy. You may want to visit their own website at www.raglanroad.com for more detailed information. Similarly, there are often some held at the Rose and Crown Pub and Dining Room at the United Kingdom at Epcot.  In addition to these celebrations, there are typically specialized merchandise and food offerings unique to the holiday throughout all of the parks and resorts. You may also want to check the Park Hours for March 17, 2016, as the day grows closer to see if anything special has been added (click on individual parks for details).

I also visit the Disney Parks Blog regularly for news as well as several independent websites such as allears.net, disneyfoodblog.com, and touringplans.com (their blog) to keep up to date about holiday happenings.

If we can help with any further questions, please let us know!  May you have a great St. Patrick's Day at Walt Disney World!  -Kara
