    Hi Mom's Panel - I'm returning to AKL this July 2015, with it being peak season, how much time should I plan from airport (magical disney express) to AKL, check in and then bus to downtown disney? I want to book diner reservations. Thank you.

    Hi there Sherri,

    I am very excited to hear that you'll be making yet another magical visit to The Walt Disney World Resort!  July is just around the corner now, and your trip will be coming up before you know it!  I would allow about an hour to get from the Orlando International Airport to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  This would include boarding the bus, waiting for it to fill and take off, making stops at other resorts, and arriving at your resort.  It could be shorter, but I would definitely allow an hour to be sure.  Check in should be quick depending on the time of day you arrive.  I would probably allow myself another hour at the hotel to check in and get settled and then an additional 30 minutes for travel to Downtown Disney.  

    If you rush, you could probably make it in 2 hours, but to be safe, I would allow at least 2.5 hours just to be safe.
