Hi panel! I'm in the process of planning a vacation and want to take my nephews (13, 11) in Aug. for both their b-days as a surprise! Any advice on where to stay to have enough space but still be budget friendly? I want something that the boys will love!

Wow Brianna, what a wonderful aunt you are to be taking your two nephews on a great vacation to Walt Disney World! Will you be surprising them or are they already counting down the days?

To be honest every single one of the Disney resorts will provide you with a magical vacation.  Your budget will certainly be the deciding factor in your choice. I would suggest you pick a Value resort and with the money you save you can splurge on a special dining experience or a great recreation opportunity such as a fishing excursion.

The Value resorts all are themed and have wonderful pools. The only thing that will be missing is a slide but since you are coming in August I  suggest at least a half day at one of the water parks, Typhoon Lagoon  and Blizzard Beach. They can get their fill of more thrilling water experiences there.  My first suggestion is to see if any of the Family Suites are available at All Star Music or the new Art of Animation resorts. These will give you a second bathroom and certainly more room. If they are not available then I would still consider staying at a value since you will not be in your room much during your stay.  My favorite value beyond the Family Suite situation is Pop Century.  Love the themeing and it has a great lobby, food court, and best of all it doesn't share a bus line with any other resort to the parks!

A more expensive option is one of the moderates and would suggest Coronado Springs. You will have two queen beds in each room which gives you just a bit more space although it is not extraordinary.  You could also price one of the Villa rooms but those will definitely eat into your budget. The benefit of them would be the kitchen and washer and dryer right in the villa so you can save on food etc during the vacation.

Lots of great choices....check them out and see where they fit in your budget!
