Hey howdy hey, Kristen! You’ve got a friend in me at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and I’m so happy to welcome you back!
It sounds like you’re just as excited as I am to return to
Downtown Disney District! I’m so thankful to have a piece of the magic back now, with today's reopening of Downtown Disney District. This is a great question, and one I have been wondering as well. I checked with a Cast Member, and was told that having a dining reservation will help you with parking in the Simba lot, especially when the lot is full. Here’s how it works: Guests who have booked a dining reservation should speak with a parking lot Cast Member to show proof of their reservation to gain parking access. You can find the Simba lot at Disneyland Drive and Katella Ave. I’m thrilled to report that parking at the Simba lot is temporarily complimentary, too!
It looks like
Naples Ristorante e Bar and
UVA Bar & Cafe are currently taking reservations. Naples Ristorante e Bar is one of my family’s favorite places to dine at Downtown Disney District! The family-size pizzas are delicious!

here’s a link to the shopping and dining locations that are currently open. I can’t wait to check out
the new merchandise at
World of Disney honoring the 65th anniversary of Disneyland Park! You can never have too many Spirit Jerseys, right?!
I hope this information helps, Kristen! I can’t wait for you to make new
Disneyland Resort memories this weekend!
Hope to see ya’ real soon!
