Hi Panel, I'm organising our first trip to the US and to Disneyworld. We have 3 children 4,6 and 7. I'm a bit confused about the food situation. If we stay at a resort do we eat breakfast there or at a restaurant? Do we book all meals in advance?

Visiting the Walt Disney World resort is going to be such a wonderful vacation for your family. I would suggest that you begin by ordering the free Disney Vacation Planning DVD. This useful tool will help you decide where to stay, what to see and even where to eat. Your choices to eat at Walt Disney World are endless, between the resort restaurants and those at the parks. I would suggest that you look into the Disney Dining Plan because making reservations in advance, while not necessary, is important if there are certain places you really want to eat at. I would suggest also that you contact (407) WDW-DINE and speak to the helpful and friendly cast members who can also give you great information on where to eat. With two daughters, I have been to some great princess character dining experiences. There are just so many wonderful options that you will have a great time just planning your meals. Have a magical vacation.
