Hi Panel! I'm coming in January 2014 for 7 days and have booked a room at Contemporary but would love to split the vacation with the first 3 days at the Beach Club. Is it easy to transfer between two hotels? How does it work? Thanks!

    Hi, Bella!

Trying two different resorts can be a lot of fun!  It is like starting your vacation all over again!

To book two resorts in one stay, you will have to book two separate reservations, then check-in twice, once for the first leg of your journey, then again when you arrive at resort #2.  You can have your bags transferred over, just drop your luggage with Bell Services and ask to have them taken to your new "home."

I find the best way to stay at two resorts in the same vacation is to book both resort stays as "room only" but buy enough park tickets to cover your entire stay.   Your Magic Your Way tickets will be valid for 14 days from their first use so they will carry you through your whole vacation.

Remember that check-out is at 11am and check-in is not until 4pm so keep in mind you will be without a room for a few hours so plan ahead!

If you have any other questions about a split stay, let me know!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
