Does the panel have ideas for special things to do with my DD who'll be 12-1/2 when we visit next year? She's past the Princesses, BBB, and Hannah Montana, but still not over the magic and I want the trip to be special. Suggestions? Thanks!

    Hi Penny!

Why not schedule an appointment at a spa located in some of the resort hotels? The Grand Floridian Spa offers a wide variety of treatments ranging from manicures and pedicures to massages that you can enjoy together for a special mother daughter moment.

Another idea would be to enjoy Afternoon Tea in the Garden View Lounge also at the Grand Floridian. The Afternoon Tea is a great option for something special to do if your daughter isn't interested in characters and dressing up. They serve really delicious refreshments and a wide variety of teas.

If you are looking for something more adventurous, you could rent a Sea Raycer or surrey bike at many of the resorts for a different way to spend an afternoon. A great place to rent a surrey bike is at the Boardwalk. You can ride all along Crescent Lake and by the Beach and Yacht Club resorts. If you do this in the evening, there are usually performers out on the Boardwalk like a magician or jugglers.

I hope this gives you some ideas on how to make your upcoming trip magical!
