Hello panel! I'd like to thank you in advance for your kind answer! We are going to Disney in Sept. and we have a son that'll be 20mo old. He does eat well & sometimes can get fussy. What are kid friendly/fun restaurants with good food that'll work for

    Hello, Mark!

Don't worry about fussiness at Walt Disney World; just about every restaurant has a kids' menu, which is specifically tailored to little ones' preferences, and Cast Members know that the key to keeping a child happy is getting the food out quickly.

You can find many of the restaurant menus on Disney's website; just click on each park or resort, then look for "Dining." Once there, you can click on a restaurant title and see a menu as a PDF. Look for what you'd like to try, knowing that there will surely be a kids' menu offered for your son.  With a very few exceptions, most restaurants at WDW are kid-friendly, too.

At Magic Kingdom Park, try The Crystal Palace.  Character greetings will entertain, and, because it's a buffet, you won't have to wait for your order.  Chef Mickey's is another great buffet and is only a quick monorail ride (or ten-minute stroll on foot) from MK to Disney's Contemporary Resort.  At Epcot, try Coral Reef Restaurant, with windows that look into The Seas' 5.7 million gallon aquarium.  Now THAT's entertainment! At Hollywood Studios, we really like the food at Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano (although there's no entertainment; the food's just really good!)  At Animal Kingdom, we like Tusker House, since it, too, is a buffet (love that with little ones!) If you're there for either breakfast or lunch, characters will join you! There's also a Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom, as well.

At Downtown Disney, head to T-Rex for prehistoric decor (and meteor showers) as well as a hands-on area to explore. We LOVE Wolfgang Puck Express-Marketplace, too, which is categorized as a Quick-Service restaurant, but will taste and feel like so much more.

Please send more questions as you think of them! I'd love to help
