Hello panel! My husband, 5 year daughter and I will be visiting in May 2010. I am torn on a hotel. I want a moderate level.any ideas? what building should i ask for? the only thing i hate about value are they only have double beds.please help!

    Hi Laura,

If you are looking for a Disney Moderate Resort with queen beds then I recommend Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.  The resort has a very well themed pool area, a table service restaurant, and the Pepper Market, a very unique quick service food court.  The Spanish-style Casitas are very peaceful with buildings 1, 2, and 3 being close to the restaurants and services.  The Cabanas remind me of the Caribbean with building 8 being close to the restaurants and services.  The Ranchos are quiet and relaxing, but far away from the main pool and, in my opinion, very far away from the restaurants.

That said, my family's favorite Moderate resort is Port Orleans Riverside.  My family, including my 5 year old, enjoys the theming of the Alligator Bayou section of that resort.  He also enjoys the pool area there and loves the relatively long water slide.  You may also enjoy Port Orleans French Quarter which is much smaller and also has a nice pool, but their water slide is much shorter than the one at Riverside.  However, if you stay at either of the Port Orleans resorts, you can enjoy the amenities and services of the other; you just have to walk or ride the boat between them.  Both resorts offer two double beds or one king bed.  If you go with Port Orleans Riverside, my favorite buildings are 14 and 18 in the Alligator Bayou section as they are close to the food court, restaurant, main lobby, and pool area.

Enjoy planning your trip and write back if you have any more questons!
