The Panel is a HUGE help! Visiting 4/26 - 5/3/09.Going to water park & have 6 pm ADR at Whispering Canyon Cafe. What time do we have to leave park to get to CBR (to shower) & get to dinner on time? Having trouble figuring out transportation times

    Hi Michelle,

It sounds like you have a great day planned!  Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge is a great way to spend an evening.  The servers are hilarious, and keep the crowd well entertained.  If you are travelling with kids, they have a crazy parade that is usually a bit hit as well.  As for "timing it" correctly, I would allow about 45 minutes to an hour (just to be safe) to leave the water park, walk to the bus stop, wait for a bus and return to your resort.  As for how much time your clan needs to get ready to go out, I'll leave that calculation to you.  I would then allow about approximately an hour and ten minutes (again, to be safe) to get to the Wilderness Lodge.  A good "route" is to take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and then hop on a resort launch (boat) to the Wilderness Lodge.  It's a nice ride over, and you'll arrive behind the pool area.  Since I've allotted some "just in case time", take a few minutes to check out the Lodge's version of "Old Faithful."  It's really a site to see!

A return trip to the Magic Kingdom is a nice way to end your day if you're up to it after dinner.  Again, just hop on the resort boat heading back to the park.

    Have a great day!
