This panel is so hopeful with the daunting task of trying to plan the perfect vacation. My question is on the standard dining plan are you allowed to order an appetizer in lieu of an entrée? I know both are not allowed.

    Hey there Jennifer,

The general  Disney Dining Plan policy states that entrees and appetizers are not interchangeable and that the entree must be ordered from the "entrees" section of the menu.  However, I have found that this policy can really vary depending on the location and that it never hurts to ask.  Just mention your request to your server and they will do their best to accommodate you based on the policies of the restaurant!

    Best Wishes,
