    Hi Moms! Your panel has helped me immensely in planning our first WDW trip! Thank you! I've heard that you can bring outside food into Fantasmic- is that accurate? Do you wait in line for the 60-90 minutes before the show begins, or are you seated?

    Hi there Daniel!  We are so glad we can be of help...we really do love all things Disney!

    What you have heard about Fantasmic is true:  you can bring food from anywhere in the park into this outdoor theater area (food is available in the Fantasmic area too). 

    People generally do find their seats early for this show, and the seating is often filled to capacity.  So you are urged to get your seat as early as possible.  You do not wait in line for Fantasmic - when you enter the outdoor theater area you can find a seat anywhere and sit there while you wait. 

    My husband and I will often find a place for all of us to sit, and then one of us will go get dinner.  Here is a word of caution though:  once cast members determines that the seating areas are completely full, they will not let anyone else in.  So if you or your husband have gone to get food outside of the Fantasmic area, and then it fills up, you will not be able to get back in.  So the best solution, if it looks like it will fill completely, is to buy your food in this area.
