    Hi panel. Can you help me understand how the special Magic Bands available in the Disney store work? I know we get one sent to us when we book our vacation. If we purchase another one, does Disney just link it to our account? I'm a bit confused.

    Hi Bradford,

    You are correct in saying that you will automatically receive a MagicBand if you stay at a Disney Resort hotel or if you are a Walt Disney World Passholder.

    You can of course purchase another MagicBand online or from select retail locations including the Disney Store. If you do decide to do this, you will need to create or sign into your Disney account and Link Your MagicBand.

    Multiple MagicBands can be assigned to a single person, so activating a new MagicBand does not mean that you must deactivate an existing MagicBand. All active MagicBands assigned to a person have access to the benefits and entitlements for that person.
