Hi Panel!! We are heading to Disney World next week for the first time! We are arriving a day earlier then our package and have booked a room only for that night Will we be able to pick up our park tickets and use them a day early?

Hi, Heather! That's so exciting that you get to start enjoying your vacation a day sooner than you had originally anticipated! As far as obtaining your park tickets, you certainly can ask the front desk Cast Member who checks you in for your room-only reservation if you can receive your tickets.  If it's the same resort and they have record that the two reservations are associated, I don't think you'll have a problem.  If it's at all possible, you know that WDW is going to try to make it happen for you.  You know, though...there is MUCH fun to be had outside the parks including:

    • Entertainment and events at other resorts such as Chip n' Dale's Campfire at Fort Wilderness or take in a dinner show at the Hoop Dee Doo Revue or the Luau at The Polynesian. Plus, several resorts have movies under the stars.
    • Rent a pontoon boat and scope out the waterways of WDW.  Or, you can ride the many modes of transportation to get a feel for the resort.  We love to tour on WDW boats, monorails and buses.
    • Take in a movie and dinner at Downtown Disney or enjoy the sights and entertainment of shopping in a bustling district.
    • Enjoy a stroll on The Boardwalk and try your hand at some of the mid-way games. Rent a surrey and travel around the lake.
I think you'll find that there's much to see and do even without theme park tickets at WDW! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
