Hi Panel, You guys are great. Coming in Jan to POR FQ. Never been, heard its great. ? is to save a fewhundred $ should our fam of 4 stay at POP? My concern is the room being too small for 2 adults a 10 and 4 yr old. Thanks.

    Hi Michael,

While both resorts are nice, I would stick with Port Orleans French Quarter if you can afford it.

Here are a few of the reasons why: The rooms at French Quarter were recently converted from double beds to queen beds. Pop Century has double beds. I'm sure the bigger bed will be appreciated by all.In addition, French Quarter has "Doubloon Lagoon", a fantastic pool with an alligator band and an awesome sea serpent waterslide. You can also use the Ol' Man Island pool complex at Port Orleans Riverside. Pop Century doesn't have a waterslide. Your 10 year old will really enjoy that. The atmosphere is also much more relaxed and laid back at French Quarter which is nice for unwinding at the end of the day.

Hope this helps and have a wonderful vacation,

    Kaylene
