    This mom's panel is great!!!!! Planning a trip Nov 09 or Jan/Feb 2010, family of 2adults, 3kids (8,6,2). Trying to decide between the POR or CBR. Looking for great atmosphere (in room & out), easy access to parks, good for kids. What would you recom.

    Hi Victoria!  I know I will differ from some of the other moms but my favorite moderate resort is by far the Port Orleans Riverside or French Quarter.  To me it has the extra magical feeling and doesn't feel as crowded.  I love the grounds and atmosphere and love that you can even catch a boat to Downtown Disney for a change of scenery!  You will need to use the Disney busses for park transportation from either of the resorts.

    To see some great photos of this beautiful resort you can go to the site, portorleans.org.  Since you are coming in the colder months I don't feel the pool is the biggest issue but both have nice facilities if it does get warm enough for the kids to take a swim.
