HELLO PANEL!! 47 TO GO. have a group of 12 w/ insurance. 2 might be getting new jobs. when is the cut off date to change reservations i know 45 usually is but will that change because of insurance

    Hi there, John!

Without knowing the insurance you purchased (whether it was through the Walt Disney Travel Company, an authorized vacation reseller, such as AAA, or a third-party agent), it will be tricky for me to give you an answer on which you can hang your hat (or mouse ears!).

My suggestion is to call the company that generated and sold you the coverage. Assuming that a job transfer / layoff counts as a qualifying event, you will want to ask at what point changes can be made without penalties incurred.

It is my best guess that your insurance will save you from having any fees associated to making the change within the 45-day window, but again, without knowing specifically the policy you have taken out and the company you used, I am hesitant to offer any definites.

If you are comfortable sharing that information with me, feel free to drop me a line, and I will be happy to do some detective work on your behalf.

    Have a wonderful trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
