Hi Moms Panel, we are getting ready for our trip next month... one quick question, how can we get from magic kingdom to animal kingdom via disney transportation. I know there is a bus to take us back to the hotel but is there an animal kindom bus?? thanks!

Hi Jill!  You are one month away, how exciting!  It sounds like you're looking for Disney Transportation to get you from Magic Kingdom Park to Disney's Animal Kingdom Park.   Although there is not a direct bus, here are some easy options for you...

    • Take the Monorail from Magic Kingdom to the Transportation and Ticket Center.  Then, transfer to a bus to Animal Kingdom Park.
    • Take the Ferry Boat from Magic Kingdom to the Transportation and Ticket Center. Then, transfer to a bus to Animal Kingdom Park.
    • Take the walking path from Magic Kingdom Park to Disney's Contemporary Resort Hotel.  From there, board a bus to Animal Kingdom Park.
    • You could board a bus from Magic Kingdom to Animal Kingdom Lodge.  Once at the Lodge, you could board a bus heading to Animal Kingdom Park.
Your total trip time should be around 40-45 minutes, provided that transportation is running in a timely manner.

I wish you a truly MAGICAL vacation!
