    Hello Panel, First WDW trip, staying at the AKL. Was wondering how long will it take us to get to the parks,if its to long should we find another hotel closer to all the parks. Thanks

    Hi LaShandra!  I certainly would not cancel your reservation at the Animal Kingdom Lodge if this is the resort that interests you the most for you and your family.  It is a unique spot on property where you can enjoy the feel of being in a completely different country while watching the exotic African animals right outside your room!

    Resorts are located all around the Disney property which means that they will all be closer to one park or another.  Each resort has great bus service and only a few resorts allow you to be able to walk to a park. The following are approximate times for a Disney bus to reach a park from the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Please remember to build into these times another 15-20 minutes in case you are unlucky and "just" miss a bus!

    Magic Kingdom: 18 minutes
    Hollywood Studios:  16 minutes
    EPCOT:  17 minutes
    Animal Kingdom:  15 minutes
