Hello, Panel. This will be my first trip to WDW. I'm traveling with a 4, 5, and 11 year old. Would it be better for me to stay at a Disney Resort or to stay off Disney property?

    Hi Stephanie!

If you can fit it in your budget, then I am a HUGE fan of staying on Disney property whenever I can afford it. One huge advantage I like about staying on Disney property is the peace of mind of having transportation to any Park, Resort, Dining, or Entertainment area on Disney property. Even if you drive there, you can essentially leave your car parked at your resort, then use Disney transportation (bus, monorail, boat) to get to wherever you need to go.

Disney guests can also take advantage of the Disney Dining Plan, as well as what's known as Extra Magic Hours, which entitles guests to early and/or late stays at the Theme Parks.

So, I would go for a Disney resort stay as a preference. If nothing else, it puts you and family closer to the Disney magic :-)

    Good luck!
