Hi panel! I am feeling overwhelmed looking at several crowd calendars and seeing different results. I know touring plans.com is highly recommended, but how accurate are the other ones? WDW prep school, easy WDW, undercover tourist, etc.?

Hi Kelly! Wow, I always marvel at the crowd calendars that are out there for our guests to visit. Some days they are spot on and yet other times they seem to be as far off as possible.

I have learned that predicting crowds at Walt Disney World is an almost impossible science in itself. School calendars change from year to year so winter, spring, and fall breaks are all different. Since so many families try to visit during non school times these breaks will bring larger crowds. But because each part of the country seems to be different who knows which week in the spring is going to be elbow to elbow.

Last year during March there were two weeks that were actually quite manageable and yet everyone was saying don't come in March because of the crowds.  I just know don't come during true holidays and long weekend holidays if you don't want lines. Mid summer is also a crowd gathering time.

And don't forget you have to add in all the international guests who come and we have no idea when their vacations happen from year to year.  I say stick to one of the popular ones such as touring plans or undercover tourist but please don't hold them to being exact.

No matter what the crowds are we always seem to have a magical time as I am sure you will too!
