Hello Mom's Panel, My family will be staying at Old Key West in April and I was wondering if the Studio Kitchenettes come with dishes and cutlery? Thank you. Susan

    Hi Susan Charlotte,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question, my fellow Canadian.

We recently stayed in a Studio room at a Deluxe Villa Resort Hotel and I’m happy to say that there were dishes and cutlery available for us to use throughout our stay. I’ve had mixed experiences with the type of cutlery/plates that have been available in Studio rooms. Sometimes only disposable paper/plastic types were available, other times we had actual metal and porcelain to use. During one stay, however, I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to call and request actual cutlery to use during our vacation by asking really nicely... (okay, fine, I may have begged!)

I’m not sure what kinds of dishwater and cutlery are available at Disney’s Old Key West Resort, but if you find that a disposable option isn’t to your liking, I’d highly recommend calling Mousekeeping to see whether you can get a “real” set to use.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
